This policy explains how the Union Software website uses cookies and similar browser storage. A cookie is a small text file stored by a browser. Local storage is a browser feature that can remember a setting without sending it with every web request.
We use essential storage to remember privacy choices and operate the site. We use analytics only after you opt in. We do not currently place advertising or cross-site behavioural marketing cookies on this website.

3. Categories in the preference centre
- Necessary: consent records, security, routing, and functions required to deliver a page or service you request. These cannot be disabled through the preference centre.
- Analytics: Google Analytics measurements such as pages viewed, session statistics, approximate location, browser, and device information. Disabled until you opt in.
- Preferences: remembers an explicit region and language choice and can share it with the signup site. Disabled until you opt in. Without it, the selected URL continues to work and the site may offer a non-binding suggestion from browser language and timezone settings.
- Marketing: reserved for advertising measurement or targeted marketing technologies. No marketing technology is currently active on this website, so enabling this category does not currently start marketing measurement or storage.
4. Google Analytics
If a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured and you grant analytics consent, the site loads Google’s tag and sends website usage information to Google. Google Analytics may collect a client identifier, session information, approximate geolocation, browser and device information, page URLs, referrers, and interaction events. We configure advertising storage and advertising personalization as denied unless you separately enable a relevant category.
If you reject or withdraw analytics consent, we do not initiate Google Analytics measurement. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies from this site, although previously aggregated reports are not automatically reversed.
5. Change or withdraw your choice
Select “Cookie settings” in the footer to review or change a saved choice. Before a choice is saved, the cookie message also lets you customize categories. You can accept the optional categories, keep necessary storage only, or make a custom selection. Your new choice applies to future activity.
If you close the cookie message or make no choice, the page continues to load and optional analytics, marketing, and preference storage remain off. The region shown in the URL remains active, and you can change it at any time with the region and language selector.
You can also clear or block storage through your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent the site from remembering preferences or may affect account functions. Browser settings are specific to each browser and device.
