01Start with the issue

Use the case types and language your union already knows.

Open a grievance, discipline matter, investigation, accommodation, appeal, or another case type your union defines. Add one member or a group, then bring in the employer, worksite, assignment, incident date, and agreement clauses that matter.

More you can do

Create your own case types, subcategories, numbering, colors, statuses, and custom fields. Log a new matter step by step, create a partial case when time is tight, or enter a historical case directly as settled, withdrawn, closed, or archived.

02One case · full history

Open one case and understand what happened.

See the member, employer, worksite, assignment, agreement reference, representative, notes, files, status, and history in one protected case record. Staff can move from the issue to the supporting evidence without searching through inboxes and folders.

More you can do

Keep individual or group subjects, current and historical details, watchers, custom fields, pinned notes, evidence, generated documents, research citations, and a complete activity history attached to the case.

Prepared for the next conversation

A member should not have to repeat the whole story every time the case moves forward. The record should help the representative pick up exactly where the work left off.

03Procedures and deadlines

Keep every required step and deadline visible.

Apply a grievance procedure or another timeline template to the case. Each step can calculate the next due date, name the responsible role, and show what is current, complete, upcoming, due today, or overdue.

Staff reuse the case information they already checked instead of copying it into another document or spreadsheet.

Built around the union

The questions teams ask before moving case work.

Configure Cases around the way your union represents members, protects sensitive information, meets deadlines, and reports on the work.

Can we use our own case types and terminology?

Yes. Configure the categories and fields your union uses.

Case types, subcategories, labels in English, French, or Spanish, number formats, colors, statuses, custom fields, and active or inactive options.

Can one case involve several members?

Yes. Handle individual, group, or policy matters.

One primary member or several subjects, People types, employer and worksite information, historical cases, imports, and case-specific assignments.

Who can see a sensitive case?

Cases are private by default.

The assigned representative, assigned team, and users with elevated permission can view the case. Authorized staff can grant read or edit access to specific users or teams.

Can procedures and deadlines match our agreements?

Yes. Apply reusable timelines and calculate each step.

Timeline templates, anchor dates, responsible roles, agreement-based or manual deadlines, reminders, completion history, and overdue views.

Can we keep notes, files, and documents together?

Yes. Keep the supporting record with the case.

Pinned notes, file uploads, agreement excerpts, research citations, generated documents, watchers, event history, and print-ready PDF export.

Can leadership report across cases?

Yes. Build reports from current case records.

Tables, summaries, charts, pivots, and key measures filtered by type, status, employer, agreement, assignee, dates, deadlines, outcomes, and custom fields.

The case record stays grounded in union work.

Bring the member, agreement, evidence, and next step together.

Cases can use authorized member and work information from People, cite agreement language, keep evidence in Files, collect intake through Forms, send approved updates, and report on workload and outcomes. Staff do not have to rebuild the same case context in separate systems.
