Communications

One message. The right members. The right channel.

Build email, text, and voice campaigns from current member records, with member choices and exclusions checked before anything is sent.

One union. Every update.Prepare the message once. Choose email, text, or voice.

01Start with who needs to hear it

Choose the audience without exporting another list.

Select one or more People segments, then see who is eligible for email, text, or voice before you write the message. Missing contact details, member choices, duplicate addresses, bounces, and suppressions are counted before anything is sent.

Staff know who will receive the update and why anyone is excluded.

More you can do

Name the campaign, choose the subscription topic, combine current People segments, and review selected, eligible, and excluded totals. Open the exclusions to understand each reason before the campaign moves forward.

02The channel that fits

Use email, text, or voice in the same campaign.

Send detailed news by email, a short reminder by text, or a voice alert when a call is easier to receive. The selected audience and member choices stay attached while staff change the channel.

A meeting notice, bargaining update, or urgent alert reaches members in a useful form.

More you can do

Write a branded email, compose a personalized SMS with a phone preview, or record a voice message and review its script. Each channel keeps the same campaign name, audience, subscription topic, and delivery checks.

Clear when timing matters

When a route changes or a safety notice cannot wait, the update has to reach operators between shifts, not only staff at a desk.

03Recognizable and personal

Build a message members recognize.

Start with a union template or a blank canvas, add the content you need, and personalize it with current member details such as first name, member number, or worksite.

Staff can prepare a polished update without code or an outside email vendor.

More you can do

Drag in headings, text, images, buttons, and dividers, then use the union’s saved branding and reusable content. Preview the message as a specific member on desktop or mobile before it is approved.

04Check it before it leaves

Review the message and choose the send time.

Preview the campaign as a real recipient, send a test, and choose the local time. Quiet-hour guidance makes a risky setting visible while there is still time to change it.

More you can do

Switch between recipient, desktop, mobile, and channel previews. Review the sender name, subject, links, and estimated audience, then send now or schedule in the time zone staff understand.

05Clear delivery results

See who was reached and what happened next.

Follow delivery while the campaign runs, then review bounces, opens, clicks, replies, opt-outs, and complaints. Open member activity when a total needs more context.

Leadership sees whether the update reached people, and staff know what to improve next time.

More you can do

Compare targeted, eligible, sent, delivered, and excluded totals, then review engagement by hour, day, week, or month. Inspect individual recipient activity and keep an eye on sender reputation, bounce rate, complaint rate, and channel health.

Built around the union

The questions teams ask before their first campaign.

Use current member information, respect each member’s choices, and keep the whole send understandable from audience selection through delivery.

Can we send email, text, and voice?

Yes. Use all three channels from the same campaign workflow.

Email builder, personalized SMS, recorded or text-to-speech voice, channel previews, and one campaign history.

Can we use current People groups?

Yes. Choose one or several authorized People segments.

Current segment membership, recipient estimates, channel eligibility, duplicate handling, and clear exclusion reasons.

Are member choices respected?

Yes. Preferences and safeguards are checked before sending.

Subscription topics, per-address consent, SMS opt-outs, do-not-contact status, bounces, complaints, and permanent suppressions.

Can staff build branded email without code?

Yes. Start from a trusted design or a blank canvas.

Visual blocks, saved union branding, reusable content, templates, merge fields, and automatic contrast guidance.

Can we preview, test, and schedule?

Yes. Review the campaign before it leaves the union.

Recipient, desktop, mobile, and channel previews; test sends; local-time scheduling; quiet-hour and send-window guidance.

Can we see delivery for each member?

Yes. Move from campaign totals to individual activity.

Delivery, opens, clicks, replies, opt-outs, complaints, clicked links, exclusions, and sender health in one reporting flow.

One campaign. Current union records.

Build the message around the work already happening.

Use authorized People segments, invite members to Events, collect replies with Forms, link to a website or campaign microsite, and support organizing or strike outreach. Teams use current records instead of exported files passed between separate vendors.
