Intake uses union types
Grievance, discipline, investigation, accommodation, arbitration — the language the local already uses. Partial file when time is tight.

By Need
Every file has a member, an article, a deadline, and a next step. Enforcement is the record — not a pile of forms and a rumour about what is late.
Union Software is built for the collective bargaining economy — the local, the unit, the hall, the board — not for an employer HR stack. Enforcement here is the case: type, people, incident, procedure, article, document, report.
Grievances & Cases holds the member, the article, the procedure dates, and the letter. Agreements is the clause on the file. Advanced Reports counts open and overdue from those cases.
The software answers who owns the file, when the next step is due, whether the article is cited, and what number the board can open.

Grievance, discipline, investigation, accommodation, arbitration — the language the local already uses. Partial file when time is tight.
Timeline templates, anchor dates, responsible roles, due today and overdue.
Search the agreement, open the clause, cite it into the case.
Matched template, merge fields the case already holds.
Tables and pivots by type, status, employer, agreement, assignee, dates. The number still opens the case. Cases are private by default. This page is not the H&S need and not a slogan-only enforcement story.
The steward has the conversation. If intake is a generic ticket, the remedy and the witnesses disappear.
Start intake on the type that fits — grievance, discipline, or the local’s own type.
Pull the member, employer, and worksite from People.
Record incident date, the 5 Ws, and the requested remedy in notes.
Assign the steward and leave a next action visible to the Chief Steward.
